Extra Innings Triple Threat
The Extra Innings mission is simple: to improve the performance of
baseball and softball players at all skill levels and ages. We do this by
providing high-quality personal or group instruction, opportunities to
practice in our professional batting cages and tunnels and the ability to
purchase top-quality baseball equipment at discount prices. We help to
build successful players–and love doing it!
Training Center
- Baseball Lessons - Extra Innings offers individualized, year-round professional baseball instruction. Our staff uses a teaching system that encourages positive progress with all our students.
- Softball Lessons - For the softball player, Extra Innings offer individualized, year-round professional softball instruction. Our staff uses a teaching system that encourages positive progress with all our students.
- Clinics - Comprehensive clinics are held throughout the winter, spring and summer for players ages 7 to 17. These clinics emphasize off-season fundamentals for young players to improve their skills and to keep all elements of their game sharp. Participation is limited to assure quality instruction. Our franchises also offer clinics for baseball/softball coaches that help them learn the latest techniques for instructing and motivating young baseball and softball players.
Year Round Practice Facilities
- Tunnels - Extra Innings features 6 multi-use tunnels and 3 pitching only tunnels. They can be
rented by the half hour or full hour. Each batting tunnel is 70 feet long, 15
feet wide and a minimum of 24 feet high, which allows for greater
mobility and ball travel than standard batting tunnels do. Each
tunnel is equipped with an adjustable pitching machine, making it
suitable for individual or team hitting instruction and practice.
What's more, Extra Inning hitting tunnels are equipped with individual pitcher's
mounds and sliding nets, which allow the tunnel to be converted
into an open field area for clinics as well as pitching and fielding
instruction.
- Training Area - This area allows
members to fine tune their hitting skills or work on drills they
have learned during a private lesson. The room is equipped with
training aids such as tees, soft-toss machines and stride boards.
This room may be used by members at any time without reservations
and can be reserved in advance by teams.
- Batting Cages - Extra Innings Brooklyn Park offers token-operated baseball
and softball batting cages, which are available to the public on a walk-in
basis any time during the facility's hours of operation. The
machines allow hitters to select pitching speeds ranging from 40
to 90 miles per hour. Our ceiling height is 24 feet high so players can watch the true
flight of the batted ball.

- The Extra Innings Pro Shop offers the latest and widest selection of
baseball and softball equipment. We carry brand names such as Louisville, Easton, Mizuno, Rawlings, Worth, Wilson,
Franklin and many more at the lowest prices around.
We stock over a large selection of metal and wood for your hitting prowess, including Louisville, Nokona, Easton, All Star, Mizuno and
Rawlings. Our customers appreciate our Pro Shop because it offers a
much wider equipment selection than they'd typically find at a "big
box" sporting goods store, at better prices. Our expert staff has the knowledge and experience to make equipment recommendations and do custom fittings,
