NICK GRETZ – GENERAL MANAGER/HEAD TRAINER
After a stellar high school career where Nick batted over .400, he went on to play for the College of Southern Idaho where he was All Conference and All Region in 1996-1997. He played for the University of Southern Alabama where he was named to the all Region team, voted as the Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week in 2001, and also named All Conference in 1999 and in 2001. Nick continued on with the Colorado Rockies from 2001 to 2004 and the Saint Paul Saints from 2004 to 2006. While playing for these teams he was named to the Northern League All-Star Teams in 2002 & 2004, and was part of the Northern League Championship Team with the Saints in 2004. Nick will be available to teach all around skills, focusing on the fundamentals of hitting.

RYAN SEMANS – INSTRUCTOR
Ryan attended Champlin Park High School where he was a member of the All-State Baseball Team. He went on to pitch for the Winona State University Warriors where he earned a spot on the All-Conference Team and was named to the 2003 NSIC Spring Sports All-Academic Team. Ryan is the Varsity Head Coach for a local high school Baseball Team. Ryan is available to teach all aspects of the game.

MIKE EICHER – INSTRUCTOR
Mike played Division I Baseball at Texas Christina University (TCU) in Fort Worth, TX, where he led TCU in home runs both his freshman and junior years. Mike holds the highest fielding percentage record for the Southwest Conference doing it as an everyday shortstop. While at TCU Mike not only played baseball, he graduated with a degree in Bio-Medical Science, Computer Science and received a Masters in Physics. Mike continued on to play in the minor leagues playing for the Padres and Ranger organizations where he led his league again with the highest fielding percentages. Mike played with the Minnetonka Millers and the St. Paul Saints for several years and is currently playing amateur ball on a team that has won two consecutive titles. Mike is a defensive specialist and will be teaching skills at all infield positions, hitting and catching.

Dani Larson – INSTRUCTOR
Dani began playing in softball at Cook County High School located in Grand Marais, Minnesota. Dani served as a key player and leader throughout her high school career. She continued to play at Bethel University in St. Paul. With a breakout season her freshman year, Dani was named Rookie of the Year and the Most Improved Player. That year in 2004, Dani led the team in RBI’s, started in 39 games, and was among the top four hitters on the team. She continued to be a valuable asset on the team. Within the first 3 seasons, Dani started in 87 games with great offensive numbers. Defensively, Dani was an anchor at first base and during the first three years she had a career fielding percentage of .984 with 689 putouts, 31 assists, and only 10 errors. Dani bats and throws left-handed and has experience as a drag bunter/drag slapper. Dani will be available for lessons focusing on hitting, fielding, and catching.

Angela Vedders – Softball Instructor
Angela led the Bethel University Royals from the mound, finishing a prolific career during which she set numerous school records. Vedders was a four-year starter for the Royals and is a three-time member of the All-MIAC team, garnering first-team status for the second time. She was 16-12 with a 2.82 ERA this year, giving up 217 hits in 184 innings. She walked 38 opponents while striking out a career-high 137 batters, setting a Bethel single-season record. For her career, she started 79 games and carried a 3.38 ERA with 65 complete games. One of the top pitchers in the MIAC, Vedders finished her career with a record of 41-39 while amassing a school record 353 strikeouts, and allowing just 96 walks. Angela is available for both pitching and hitting lessons.

Kati Tweeten – Softball Instructor
Kati Tweeten was a four year starter at Augsburg College in Minneapolis. She primarily played 1st base and pitcher, but put in appearances at 3rd base and the outfield. As a fielder she holds an Augsburg record for career put outs of 736, she also has 127 career assists. She ended her career with .975 fielding percentage. Kati made 28 appearances as a relief pitcher, throwing a fastball, curve/changeup and drop pitch. Kati is available to teach hitting, fielding and pitching. |

Dave Johnson – Pitching/ Hitting Instructor
Dave is a 1994 graduate of Apple Valley high school where he was all-section and all-state honorable mention his senior year. Dave went on to play at Concordia University in St. Paul, MN where he was a 4 year starter. He established many single season records (RBI's, wins, strikeouts), and career records (games, at bats, runs, hits, doubles, RBI's, and strikeouts). Dave is currently playing amateur ball for the Miesville Mudhens where he is a player/coach. He was part of the 2007 state championship team last year. Dave will be available to teach all around skills, focusing on Pitching and Hitting. |

Scott Hollingsworth – Pitching/ Hitting Instructor
Scott is a graduate of Robbinsdale Cooper High School where he was All Conference his junior and senior year and All Metro his senior season. Scott went on to play at Concordia University in St. Paul, MN where he was a four year starter. He established records in wins and innings pitched and still holds the all time record for wins in a season. After Concordia Scott signed with the Texas Rangers and played 1 season. His return back to Minnesota landed him in Jordan MN where he plays amateur ball for the Jordan Brewers. He was part of the 2004 State Championship with Jordan. Scott is available to teach hitting and pitching skills. |
